Abstract

On the 3 October 2014, the accused poached elephants in Bango passing through the Ngoyla subdivision. After receiving this reliable information, elements of the Divisional Delegation of Forestry and Wildlife, proceeded to carry out a house search, in the accused residence in Quartier Haoussa, Lomie and found the accused in possession of 12 ivory tusks. During interrogation, the accused acknowledged the facts and pleaded guilty. It was based on this that the accused was transmitted together with the seized wildlife products as exhibits, before the state attorney for prosecution.
