Abstract

On the 24 June 2011, the accused persons SOH Berlin and ONANA Joseph were arrested flagrante delicto in Yokadouma by elements of the administration in charge of forestry and wildlife during a mobile anti-poaching patrol around the Lobeke national park. They were arrested in possession of thirteen (13) African grey parrots, one hundred (100) parrots heads, and six hundred (600) red parrot feathers. During interrogation, both accused persons admitted the facts and pleaded guilty. At the close of interrogation, the accused persons were transmitted before the State Attorney for prosecution.
