Mounanga Arnaud Ulrich met one individual in a drinking spot who told him that he was an ivory trafficker looking for ivory. Mounanga remembered that his father Nzissila was in possession of two ivory tusks and he put him in contact with the buyer who confirmed the presence of the products. then, Mounanga continued to look for other ivory products and succeeded in obtaining two other ivory tusks from Nzigou Ndinga in exchange of a percentage of the sale price. With four tusks in total, he took an appointment with the buyer in a hotel where judicial police agents arrested him. During his interrogation he declared that the tusks belonged to Nzissila and Nzigou who were subsequently arrested. Nzissila declared to have killed one elephant during a lawful defence and Nzigou declared to have collected the tusks in the forest during a fishing expedition.
