In February 2013, APONGNWU LINUS a taxi driver conducted one known as Peguy both Cameroonians to several destinations until the latter met with three individuals who put a black bag in the back boot of his taxi. He recognized one of them as MOFOR Ernest. APONGNWU was later on informed that the bag contained ivory and while he was waiting to be paid his transport fares he was arrested by a law enforcement and he conducted him to Peguy’s house where his sister MASSAH Sidonie ATEFOR was arrested. The judiciary police later on arrested ESSA NDONG Antoine living in the house where the ivory tusks were taken and the latter declared that the tusks belonged to FRU MANGA Timah. FRU MANGA on his turn declared that he was contacted by ESSA NDONG concerning ivory tusks for sale following which he put the latter in contact with MOFOR Ernest.
