Abstract
On the 29 September 2016, following a mission led by the chief of the wildlife service and protected areas of the Littoral region, Abdoul Karim Ibrahim was arrested at ”Marché des fleurs” in Douala in illegal possession of 160 carved ivory objects. When arrested, he fiercely opposed the arrest teams. During interrogations, he acknowledged committing the offence as charged and pleaded guilty. At the close of interrogations, he and the seized items were transmitted before the State Attorney for prosecution.
