Abstract

The accused persons ANKEU TANGO Jean Paul and LANG LEGO Stephane were arrested flagrante delicto in Yokadouma. ANKEU TANGO Jean Paul was caught red handed immediately after killing an elephant with the use of a firearm without any legal authorization. The co-offender LANG LEGO Stephane who detained the elephant ivories was also arrested. During interrogation, all accused persons admitted to the facts and pleaded guilty. At the close of interrogation, the accused persons together with the seized wildlife products were transmitted before the State Attorney for prosecution.
