Abstract

In January 2014, Forestry and Wildlife elements of the Upper Nyong division arrested the accused flagrante delicto in illegal possession of an elephant tusk and two pieces of elephant meat. He did not also possess his National Identity Card at the time of arrest. During interrogation, the accused admitted to committing the offences as charged. At the close of interrogations, he was transmitted together with the seized wildlife products before the State Attorney for prosecution.
