Abstract

Elements of the conservation service of the Sanaga Maritime Division received reliable information from an informant about an ongoing illegal trafficking activity in the locality of Mouanko. Following this information, the accused DELE toumolo was arrested in illegal possession of 07 leatherback turtle shells. Being a Nigerian Citizen, Dele TOUMOLO was found without a passport nor a visa. During interrogations, he claimed that it was a certain lady named Maman Jeannette who gave him the shells of the leatherback turtles for sale. He further pleaded not guilty. At the close of interrogations, he was transmitted before the State Attorney for prosecution.
