Abstract

On the 11th day of September 2021, law enforcement officers attached to Queen Elizabeth National Park got intelligence of some poachers who had entered in the park and were laying a bit in areas of Karebero. They landed on the accused persons carrying meat who were then arrested and taken to Kasese police station where the meat was handed over to a doctor for examination. The examination report revealed that the meat belonged to hippo and bush pig. They were charged and appear before this court.
