Abstract

Elements of the conservation service of the Boumba-bek National Park arrested the accused BANDINONISANGO Georges flagrante delicto in the Forestry Management Unit N°10020 while carrying out hunting activities. He was found in possession of a hunting gun and ammunitions. In addition of lacking an identification card, he could not fully justify his presence in a protected area as well as present a hunting permit authorizing him to poach totally protected animal species notably Gorillas. During interrogations, he pleaded guilty and acknowledged committing the offences as charged. At the close of interrogations, he was transmitted before the State Attorney for prosecution.
