Yanxu D. opened Jumingyuan Jewellery Store at the International Jewellery Trading Center in Yaotou Road, Lixia District, Jinan City in 2014. During the operation of the jewellery store, Yanxu D. contacted Dianchao G and others to purchase rare and endangered wild animals’ manufactured products such as ivory through WeChat transfer and express mail, and used them for sale. On July 14, 2016, Jinan Forest Public Security Bureau City Central Branch seized rare and endangered wild animals’ manufactured products from the Jumingyuan Jewellery Store, valued at RMB 107,693, of which 4 products were purchased by Yanxu D. from Dianchao G., valued at 3548.78 yuan. Yanxu D. confessed to having illegally purchased and sold rare and endangered wild animals’ manufactured products; Dianchao G. confessed to having illegally sold rare and endangered wild animals’ manufactured products.
