Abstract
The accused persons DIPAMBA JEAN and NDINTEH Georges were arrested flagrante delicto in the TONGA market in possession of trophies of class A totally protected animal species notably 01 Mandrill skull, 01 Elephant jawbone and thighbone. During interrogation, they both acknowledged that they had no legal authorization (certificate of origin) to detain these wildlife trophies. They both confessed and admitted guilt. At the close of interrogations, the were transmitted together with the seized items before the State Attorney for prosecution.

They were sentenced to pay 45,000 XAF for fines suspended within three years, and 15,375 XAF each for costs. NDINTEH Georges was sentenced to pay 825,000 XAF while DIPAMBA JEAN to pay 540,000 XAF respectively for civil damages to the State of Cameroon through the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife.
