On April 9, 2011, the defendant, Li Ming (Chinese passport holder) was captured by custom officials at the immigration hall of Huang Gang, Shenzhen with 100 Ivory products in his bag.

After the defendant pleaded guilty, on 21 March 2008, to two counts of importing and selling raw ivory and two counts of smuggling goods into the United States, she objected to the pre-sentence investigation report (PSR).
The District Court held that:

In November 2011, the defendant attempted to sell, or sold (which he denies), two African elephant tusks that he had lawfully acquired and legally imported into the United States as “sporting trophies” from a hunting safari that he had taken in Namibia several years prior.

This is a criminal case in which a tremendous effort to smuggle psittacine (parrot) birds into the United States from the Republic of Mexico was exposed. There is a quarantine against the importation of such species into the United States. The indictment was in ten counts. Three separate conspiracies were charged (Counts 1, 4, and 7).

A grand jury indicted Richard Mitchell ("Mitchell"), an employee of the Fish and Wildlife Service ("FWS") of the United States Department of the Interior, for violating 18 U.S.C. § 545 by smuggling the horns and hides of illegally hunted animals into the United States.

The defendant pleaded guilty of knowing receipt, concealment, and sale of illegally imported pancake tortoises.

Roy Hendricks brought a Bivens action against Walter Saroka and Jerry Woods, Special Agents for the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, alleging violation of rights securied under the Fourth Amendment. The district court granted summary judgement in favor of Saroka and Woods, and Hendricks appeals (current case).

Pending before the court is defendant Kemo Sylla's motion to suppress physical evidence seized during a search of his residence at the time of his arrest on December 3, 2008. Sylla is charged with one count of smuggling African elephant ivory into the United States, in violation of 18 U.S.C.

On April 2, 2001, based on the criminal facts and circumstances of the defendant and the degree of harm to the society, The Intermediate People’s Court of Yilihasake Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region rendered the following judgment: Defendant: Kudulaiti Aikebaierweiqi Duerdiyoufu Verdict: Guilty Charge/Claim: Smugglin

From December 2009 to April 2010, the defendants Huang Yawen, Chen Song, Cheng Zhiqiang and Fu Qiang were twice employed by Pangma (handed separately) to help NG SOO HEONG (nicknamed "tall guys") smuggle frozen pangolin and scales into China by a wooden fishing vessel "Pearl Bay, 3815".
