The accused person, on 11th December 2013 at Magubike Village within rural district of Iringa, was found in unlawful possession of government trophies in the form of bush buck skin. The accused person pleaded not guilty. Case withdrawn under section 91(1) of the Criminal Procedure Code and the accused is discharged.

That on 9th November, 2014 near the lake shore the accused person was arrested and found in unlawful possessing government trophies. A charge of unlawful possession was brought against the accused person. The accused person was convicted.

On 4th August, 2007 at Isinde area within Tongwe Forest Area in Mpanda District in Rukwa Region the accused person was found in unlawful possession of government trophy. Then brought before the court to answer a charge. The accused was acquitted.

Accused Stambuli Rashid was arrested at Mfulu Village, Kitete Ward within Kilosa District with allegations of possessing four (4) kilograms of bushbuck meat. He was charged at District Court of Kilosa. Accused was found in possession of four (4) kilograms of Bushbuck meat valued at Tshs. 936,000.

The applicant sought an order declaring the respondent’s motor vehicle forfeit to the state following his arrest for illegal poaching. The court dismissed the application on the basis that being motion proceedings, the matter had, there being no request for a referral for oral evidence, to be decided on the respondent’s version.

Dismissed appeal for lack of Merit- An appeal by the Appellant namely Pagainst the conviction on his own admission by the Magistrate of the Subordinate Court of the first class sitting on grounds that the charge did not disclose the full ingredients of the offence and that the plea of guilt being enter by the accused was equivocal and improper.

The Accused was arrested in Kabufukulu village, Masindi District and was later transferred to Kampala CPS.. The Accused was found to be in possession of specimen belonging to animals categorized as protected species contrary to the laws of the country.

The Accused was arrested in Karuma Wildlife Conservation area and was found to be in possession of specimen belonging to animals categorized as protected species contrary to the laws of the country. The Accused was charged and prosecuted at the Chief Magistrate Court of Nwoya at Nwoya.
