The Accused was found in possession of wildlife protected species contrary to the laws of the country. The Accused was charged and prosecuted at the Chief Magistrate Court of Bushenyi at Rubirizi.

Accused A1 and A2 were found on 30/08/2017 found in possession of 127 pieces of hippo teeth weighing 56 kg which they attempted to sell to UWA officers. They were arrested and charged of unlawful possession contrary to section 30 and 75 (b) UWA, Cap 200.

The Accused was found to have killed a wildlife protected species and was in possession of the same contrary to the laws of the country. The Accused was charged and prosecuted at the Chief Magistrate Court of Bushenyi at Rubirizi.
