Abstract

In August 2013, Elango Mosse with a caliber 12 weapon and together with Ebende Maurice decided to carry out a hunting expedition during which they killed one elephant 2 kms to Ebonga village. They removed some pieces of meat to consume and the two tusks that they sold to a Chinese at XAF 300,000 (three hundred thousand) and they shared the money. Elango Mosse and Ebende Maurice were caught by the anti-poaching unit, arrested and brought before the state prosecutor.
