Abstract

In March 2017 at Ikelemba village Moukouata Davy and Foungola Jean Pierre killed one elephant that they skinned and removed the tusks and part of the meat. An anonymous person after having known about the facts informed rangers and together with the police and gendarmerie went to Idongo village on Sangha riverside where two indigenous people were arrested, interrogated and brought before the state prosecutor.
