On November 19, 2013, Ngokouba Prince and Ngoua Olivier went to Doudouma camp with a rifle and ammunition to carry out a big hunting expedition. While there on November 21, anti-poaching agents on patrol around the Odzala Kokoua area where the Doudouma camp is located arrived there when Ngokouba Prince and Ngoua Olivier had moved away from the area. Rangers discovered in the camp several pieces of elephant meat, many weapons including the rifle and ammunition and the telephone of Ngoua Olivier. Far from the camp and after having hear gunshots from rangers, Ngokouba Prince and Ngoua Olivier ran away at Assanga village. It is with Ngoua’s abandoned telephone that both were arrested and brought before the state prosecutor.
