The Accused and others still at large illegally entered the Wildlife conservation area of Murchison falls national park and was found with a wheel trap, one spear and a knife.

On 11/07/2018, accused illegally entered a wildlife conservation area at Got Coyo in Murchison Falls was found in possession of a spear, knife, a panga and wheel trap, devices capable of killing or causing injury to wildlife species.

The Accused were arrested in Murchison Falls Park and were found to be in possession of specimen belonging to animals categorized as protected species contrary to the laws of the country. The Accused were charged and prosecuted at the Chief Magistrate Court of Nwoya at Nwoya.

The 2 accused were arrested for illegal entry into a wildlife protected area and possession of devices capable of killing and injuring wildlife protected species to wit, 6 knives and 2 fishing nets. The two accused pleaded guilty and were convicted on their own plea of guilty.

On the 11/02/2019 accused illegally entered a wildlife conservation area within Murchison Falls and killed a Uganda Kob. He was also found in possession of devices capable of killing or causing injury to wildlife species.

The accused was arrested and charged for illegal entry into a wildlife conservation area, and Unlawful Possession of devices capable of causing injury to wildlife species contrary to section 77 and 74 (a) UWA Cap 200. The accused pleaded not guilty and prosecution was tasked to prove the case against the accused beyond reasonable doubt.

Accused illegally entered a wildlife conservation area to wit Karuma conservation area and upon arrest was found with one axe

The Accused on 18/09/2020 at about 8:30 a.m. was found to have entered Murchison falls national park without permission contrary to the laws of the country. The Accused was charged and prosecuted at the Chief Magistrate Court of Nwoya at Nwoya.

The Accused were found in a protected area without an entry permit and were found to be in possession of devices capable of killing, injuring and capturing wildlife protected species contrary to the laws of the country. The Accused were charged and prosecuted at the Chief Magistrate Court of Nwoya at Nwoya.
