The defendants Weidong C., Fulong, P., Qiyi L., Zhigang Z. were hired by the Vietnamese "Amou 1" to smuggle in endangered animal products purchased by Dingqin W and ship them to Guangdong. On the morning of June 17, 2018, Fulong, P. hired a van to deliver 10 smuggled rhino horns to Zhigang Z. The next day, Zhigang Z. drove a cheetah car with Qiyi L. to carry 10 rhino horns from Pingxiang, and delivered 7 of them to Puning, Guangdong Province, and handed them to Dingqin W.'s wife. On July 26, the police arrested Dingqin W. and seized 5 rhino horns and 3 rhino horn cut pieces at his home. On the morning of July 3, 2018, Fulong, P. hired a van to deliver 1 rhino horn and 9 boxes of rhino skin to Zhigang Z. and Weidong C.. Later, they were captured by the police halfway and seized 1 rhino horn, 272.7 kg of rhinoceros.
