Abstract

On January 10, 2014, FAROUK Alim was on his way to a place known as Petit Paris to collect a package containing 16 tusks of elephant ivory. Accompanied by one known as François, they proceeded to buy a scale before taking a taxi to Louis district to sell the said tusks. Being at the level of the Raponda Walker statuette, they were stopped by the officers of the judicial police.
