Abstract

On November 13, 2010, during a routine patrol and anti-poaching mission carried out on the periphery of the Nouabélé Ndoki Park, a patrol of eco-guards surprised Fandi Edouard and Kankoe Léon, subjects of Central African nationality, in a camp near the Nouabélé Ndoki National Park, which is a protected area. They were arrested and brought before the PR who charged them with entering Congolese territory and illegal hunting inside a protected area.
