Abstract

In 2018, Manzongo Freddy returned from DRC with a PMAK war weapon. In November 2019, he and some friends killed three elephants. Some time later, Manzongo Freddy lent his gun to two of his friends who killed an elephant. The case caused a stir in the village and the accused fled to the Democratic Republic of Congo. In 2020, Manzongo Freddy returned to collect his loot and asked Lipete Manzongo Daddy to take him to a client. Manzongo Freddy was to deliver the tips of the ivory to this client.
