Abstract
During March 2011, Mbango Djima Joseph, resident in Baye, was in the Mokabi ring road, accompanied by three locals to practice hunting. Having remained alone in the camp, while the latter had gone to Lopola to look for cigarettes, he was arrested by a patrol of eco-guards in possession of 38 small hunting cartridges and a clandestine weapon.

Penalty
Mbango Djima Joseph was sentenced to 18 months firm imprisonment and to pay XAF 500000 (five hundred thousand) as fines. The accused was sentenced to pay XAF 150000 (one hundred fifty thousand) as damages and interest. The accused was sentenced to pay the costs. The imprisonment per body was fixed to 3 months for the recovery of fines, to 3months for court fees and to 12 months for damages and interest.
