Abstract
Zongo Ernest was in possession of one rifle type 375 and one caliber 12 type Simplexe and hunting ammunition without a licence or permit. On March 6, 2015, Zongo consulted with Koumou Motao Pascaline to whom he handed over the hunting material in order to carry out a big hunting expedition at Ndoki 2 forest. They were caught by the Police officers and rangers of PROJEPP Nouabale-Ndoki who arrested them and brought them before the state prosecutor.

Penalty
Zongo Ernest and Koumou Motao Pascaline were sentenced to twelve months and fifty months imprisonment respectively, to pay fines of XAF 50,000 (fifty thousand) each and to pay XAF 100,000 (one hundred thousand) each as damages and court fees. The imprisonment term was suspended. Imprisonment in default of payment was fixed to fifteen days for the recovery of court fees, one month for the recovery of fines and two months for the recovery of damages.
