On September 18, 2017, Ndzila Rochmard and Ebah Jeoffré Machel two Congolese were caught red handed in possession of one war weapon, an empty loader, 90 (ninety) war ammunition, two ivory tusks, three elephant meat pieces, four pieces of Gabon viper, one axe, one saw at the PK17 check point. They were arrested and declared the following: Ebah Jeoffré Machel recognized having retrieved one PMAK weapon and ammunition from his late uncle Samba Jean who was living at Ignoli village and to have killed one elephant and was going to Ouesso to sell the ivory. Ndzila Rochmard recognized to have accompanied bis brother Ebah to do big hunting and to have helped him to transport the products. Brought before the state prosecutor, the two accused were charged of killing of a totally protected specie (elephant), illegal possession of war weapon and ammunition and complicity.
