Abstract

In July 2011, Mengobouth Batantou Alain who had the objective to offer ivory tusks to the chief of his political party ”PJR”, provided Ndzoko Christophe with a PMAK war weapon and full loaders to kill elephants, and made sure the latter is accompanied by his father-in-law Gonock Ulrich whose mission was to monitor Ndzoko and eventually transport trophies and carcasses resulting from the hunting. The hunting was not fruitful and on their way back they came across rangers exercising their daily mission.
