Abstract
In July 2016, Soulemanou Nana Ahmadou and Moussa Paterson used to trade in ivory tusks. Soulemanou Nana was contacted by one known as Zie-Til Davil Armand to buy ivory tusks. He told the seller that he doesn’t have money but that he could find a potential buyer. He then contacted Moussa Paterson who then proposed the offer to his elder brother who bought the ivory. They both weighed the ivory and after the transaction they shared the money. During a patrol of the Sembe police district, Soulemanou Nana Ahmadou and Moussa Paterson were arrested, brought before the state prosecutor, charged of complicity for the trade in ivory and sent to court for trial.
