Abstract
In July 2016, Badidi Rock accompanied by his brother-in-law Zamba Lévi went to the forest for hunting. The hunting expedition was not fruitful and they both decided to come back with bushmeat at any cost. So when they came across a group of gorillas they did not hesitate to kill one and skin the animal.

Badidi Rock was sentenced to three years imprisonment and XAF 500,000 (five hundred thousand) as fines and to pay XAF 500,000 (five hundred thousand) as damages and court fees. The imprisonment in default of payment was fixed to its minimum.
