Abstract
On July 14, 2018 on their return from a big hunting expedition, Bokibaya Destin and his three mates known as Alain, Jules and Sebastien, all fugitives, were caught by rangers in the Bomassa area with two ivory tusks cut in six pieces and three war weapons type PMAK. The latter used their weapons against rangers in an attempt to escape. It’s following the incident that Bokibaya Destin was arrested and brought to the Bomassa base and then to the Police. After investigations, the file was forwarded to the state prosecutor.

Bokibaya Destin was sentenced to two years imprisonment, XAF 200,000 (two hundred thousand) as fines each, and to pay XAF 500,000 (five hundred thousand) as damages and court fees. The Imprisonment in default of payment was fixed to eight months for the recovery of fines, five months for damages and three months for court fees.
