Abstract
In February 2017, Bossoto Césarine was visited by one known as Dior who is the son of her elder sister living at Mobako camp, who came to deposit a bag at around 8:00 pm that she didn’t know the content. The next day in the morning, she was surprised to notice the presence of investigators in her house to do a house search and few moments later they discovered one bag containing four ivory tusks and two weighing scales. After investigations, the whole file was forwarded to the state prosecutor.

Bossoto Césarine was sentenced to twelve months imprisonment and XAF 100,000 (one hundred thousand) as fines and to pay court fees. The execution of the imprisonment term was suspended. The Imprisonment in default of payment was fixed at two months for the recovery of fines, four months for court fees.
