Abstract

Ndelameya Moïse Christ pretended to present a school exam and did not have money to put together the application file. He then decided to visit his brother-in-law at Li-Ouesso village to carry out fishing. One week after his arrival to the village, he met with one known as Majelain who proposed to carry out trap hunting in the forest. Both went to the forest and set traps for two days. On the 3rd day on their way back to the village they came across a female gorilla crossing the track with her baby. They killed the gorilla in order to sell the meat in the village, skinned and smoked the meat and returned back to the village. On their way back they came across a ranger vehicle and ran away. Ndelameya was arrested few meters later and brought to the Mokeko police station and then to Ouesso.
