Abstract

On February 18, 2014, rangers on service at PK17 kms from Ouesso in the exercise of their duties found inside the backbooth of a taxi one leopard skin, pangolin scales and a python skin. Following investigations, anti-poaching agents arrested Souleman Jufin who declared that he received a mission from Ziboth Idrissa to give the parcel to his wife in Ouesso. Ziboth Idrissa was also arrested and declared that he is only the owner of the leopard skin and that the other trophies belonged to Souleman Jufin. Both were brought before the state prosecutor who sent them to court for trial.
