Abstract
Sometimes on 13th April, 2007 at Kashaulili area within Mpanda District in Rukwa Region, the accused person was found in unlawful possession of 10 kg of hippopotamus meat valued 840,000/=, a horn of greater kudu valued Tshs. 1,600,000/= and one feather of porcupine valued tsh. 150,000/= the property of United Republic of Tanzania. He was therefore charged with an economic crime and wildlife conservation. The accused person was acquitted.
