Abstract

The accused, ABDOUR RAHMANOU was arrested by elements of the Regional delegation of Forestry and Wildlife. He was found flagrante delicto in possession of 75 African Grey Parrots without a certificate of origin. During interrogation and before the court, he pleaded guilty and recognized committing the offence as charged. The parrots seized were entrusted to the Regional Delegation of Forestry and Wildlife and the matter was transmitted to the State Attorney for hearing.
