Abstract

On the 15 May 2014, elements of the conservation service of the Lobeke National Park arrested the accused Akouya Freddy in the locality of Nguilili, arrested the accused in possession of two elephant ivories. The accused admitted ownership of the said ivories and confessed. His offence report was drafted, and together with the exhibits was forwarded before the state attorney of the court of First Instance Yokadouma for prosecution.
