Abstract

On the 29 November 2015, elements of the conservation service the accused persons BALAYE Jonas and BADOUA Florent in Libongo in possession of elephant meat. The accused BALAYE claimed a Baka, an indigenous person, invited him to a usual hunting activity. The said Baka gave him the elephant meat, which he shared with the co-offender BADOUA. During interrogation, they both acknowledged committing the offence and confessed. After their offence reports were established, they were forwarded before the state attorney of the court of First Instance Yokadouma for prosecution
