Abstract
In 2014, the accused persons EKEL EKOAKAN Placide Magloire and METSINDE Rodrigue Terache both court registrars of the Court of First Yokadouma, broke into the office of the Registrar-in-Chief and collected three (3) elephant ivories which had been seized and kept in the registry as exhibits. The ivories were to be returned to the Delegation of Forestry and Wildlife, given that the matter concerned had closed and judgement delivered. They were arrested following this act and they both confessed and acknowledged committing the offence as charged. After the close of preliminary investigations, the matter was enrolled before the said court for hearing.
