Abstract
In July 2012, the accused GBAMAN Benjamin confiscated four (04) elephant ivories seized by elements of the Divisional Delegation of Forestry and Wildlife, Yokadouma and kept in their premises. The accused denied the allegations claiming he was not in town and could not have possibly confiscated the ivories putting up a defense alibi. He however failed to defend his alibi producing evidence on his whereabouts that day according to the Penal code. It was based on this that the accused was he was forwarded together with the seized items as exhibits before the State Attorney of the Court of First Instance Yokadouma for hearing.
