Abstract

The chief of Wildlife of the Upper Nyong divisional delegation of Forestry and Wildlife organized a control mission in that zone. This led to the arrest of the accused persons HABOULAZIZE NZIME and NGAO Jean Pierre in Hotel Raphia in the town of Lomie, flagrante delicto in illegal detention and commercialization of wildlife products. Gnao Jean possessed 02 elephant ivories, 03 elephant teeth, and 01 elephant tail. His co-offender, Haboulazize was found in Room N°25 with 02 elephant ivories weighing less than 1Kg, 01 Elephant tail, 04 elephant molars, 02 incisors, and one elephant jawbone. He transmitted together with the seized items before the State Attorney for prosecution.
