Abstract
On the 12 December 2014, elements of the conservation service of the Lobeke National Park arrested the accused during a usual patrol routine along the Salapoumbe-Ngatto highway with a bag containing 4 Ivory tusks and 30 pieces of smoked elephant meat. The accused acknowledged ownership of the trophies and accepted responsibility. After his offence report was established, he was forwarded together with the seized items as exhibits before the state attorney of the court of First Instance Yokadouma for prosecution.
