Abstract
In 2016, NTIKAM ABDOURAMANI was arrested by Forestry and Wildlife officials for illegal detention of pangolin scales as he was about to traffic them. He was prosecuted and sentenced at the Court of First Instance of Bertoua. 0n the 27 January 2016, he was sentenced to a weak imprisonment term of 55 days only. Dissatisfied with this judgement, the State Attorney of the lower court filed an appeal for the penitentiary sentence to be reviewed as per the law.
