Abstract

On the 21 March 2007, the accused persons NTSY ELOUA Heriot, ELLA Francis and BISSEGUEI Bolamo Francis were arrested in Messock by elements of the conservation service. They were found in possession of three chimpanzees and other dead animal species. The first accused person, NTSY ELOUA Heriot was never identified. During interrogation, ELLA Francis and BISSEGUEI Bolamo Francis had confessed and acknowledged committing the offence as charged. At the end of interrogations, they were transmitted before the State Attorney for prosecution.
