Abstract

Elements of the conservation service of Dja organized an anti-poaching patrol mission in the Dja reserve. During this mission, the accused TCHAMI Yannick was found in possession of bags containing freshly killed protected animal species. The bags contained 18 parts of smoked black-backed duiker and 01 whole Duiker, 03 Blue Duikers, 03 fresh Citatundras, and 07 whole smoked Black-Backed duikers. Upon seizure of the wildlife products, it was sold immediately by public auction. The accused recognized and acknowledged committing the offences as charged. At the close of interrogations, he was transmitted before the State Attorney for prosecution.
