Abstract

On the 23 September 2013, the accused ZETOUBA Ange was arrested flagrante delicto at UFA N°10015 by ecoguards of the Boumba Bek National park. During interrogations and prosecution, the the accused pleaded not guilty and rebutted the facts. That the ecogardes arrested him while he was sleeping in his hut. The court however took into consideration the statements deposited by the witness, BEMBO Etienne who testified that the accused ZETOUBA told him that he had killed a Leopard who fell into a trap he set and further showed him the footprints of the said Leopard he had killed. The court, taking into consideration all the exhibits presented before it, found the accused guilty and sentenced him accordingly.
