On the 28 July 2016, a team of four (4) eco-guards and four (4) members of the community anti-poaching vigilante group, COVILAB organized a field mission based on information received from the hunting zone no.9 of MOLOUNDOU. This led to the arrest of the accused persons, SIGONO FRANCIS and LIKAMO PIERRE who were found in possession of a war arm of mark AK47 n°5669126 34, a cartridge box filled with 06 rounds of 7 mm ammunitions. 62mm x 39, steel cables, pieces of smoked meat of elephant, Indian hemp and other valuables. During preliminary investigation, the accused persons SINGONO FRANCIS and LIKAMO PIERRE confessed completely to all charges. At the end of investigations, they were transmitted together with the seized items before the State Attorney for prosecution.
