Abstract
In the lunar month of 2016, the defendant Wanqin Z. used his gun to hunt one long-tailed pheasant and one bamboo pheasant in his own vegetable garden and bamboo forest. After peeling, he put them in the freezer. In May 2017, he sold the long-tailed pheasant skin to Jihua Z. for 40 yuan. On June 19, 2017, the Baokang Forest Public Security Bureau seized a reformed gunpowder-powered shotgun from Wanqin Z.’s house. Wanqin Z. confessed to have illegally possessed firearms, illegally hunted, and illegally hunted and killed endangered wildlife.
