Abstract
At 11 pm on September 27, 2015, the defendant Birong B. was at the pond of the sixth group of Wangtan Village, Zhengchang Town, Xiantao City, setting up a bird catching net bag and played music to lure wild birds. He was arrested on the spot by the police of Zhengchang Police Station of Xiantao Public Security Bureau. Police from Zhengchang Police Station of Xiantao City Public Security Bureau seized 21 wild common moorhens, 1 speaker, 1 MP3 music player, 1 battery, and 2 plastic mesh bags on the spot. On September 29, 2015, Birong B. turned in RMB 2,500 of illegal hunting proceeds.
