From 2015 to November 29, 2018, the defendant Hongye M. used the wire bushing and power grid in the Yehu Gully in Wuping Village, Dawan Township, Jingyuan County, for hunting without going through the relevant hunting procedures at the forestry administrative department. During the closed season, he caught a total of six wild roe deer, three badgers and a large number of hares. Later, Hongye M. consumed some of them, and sold most of the hares for profit. On November 29, 2018, after receiving a report,the Dawan Police Station in Jingyuan County searched and found 23 suspected animal hoofs, 5 suspected animal meat bags, 1 battery, 1 transformer, and 2 turns of wire at his home.Then the police summoned Hongye M. to the Dawan police station for investigation. He fled. On December 18, 2018, Hongye M. surrendered to the Forest Branch of Guyuan Public Security Bureau.
