At 8 o'clock on December 30, 2014, Qigang M., Tingchun S., Kechang J., Bangqing C. agreed to bring an "HD50" air gun to Xiangshui Town, Wanzhou District to hunt wild animals. Qigang M. was responsible for shooting wild animals, Tingchun S. was driving the car, and Kechang J., Bangqing C. were picking up shooted wild animals. By 14 o'clock, a total of more than ten wild animals including three spot-headed hawks were captured. Qigang M. and others asked Xiaoyong Z. to bring lead shots. At about 16 o'clock, they met together. Qigang M., Tingchun S., Kechang J. were arrested in Shuangchang Town, Gaofeng Town, Wanzhou District. Bangqing C., Xiaoyong Z.g surrendered to the Wanzhou District Public Security Bureau. Qigang M., Tingchun S., Kechang J., Bangqing C., Xiaoyong Z. confessed to having illegally hunted threatened and endangered wildlife species.
